Today I have a video to demonstrate how to create two different looks from the one Fancy Fold Design. In a previous post HERE I showed you the Flat Flap Fun Fold Card. Another way to use this design is to create a Gate Fold Pop Up Card. Card 1:
This Flat Flap Fun Fold card uses Sun Prints DSP, Dainty Delights Stamp Set and Dies, Charming Sentiments Stamp Set, Sentiment Silhouette Dies with Gray Granite, Night of Navy and Basic White cardstock. Iridescent Pearls add some bling.
Card 2:
This Gate Fold Pop Up card uses Awash in Beauty DSP, the Bough Punch, Beautiful Shapes Dies and Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Set for the sentiment. Cardstock used was Polished Pink, Merry Merlot and Basic White. Iridescent Pearls provided the bling.

Card 3:
This Flat Flap Fun Fold card uses the Fancy Flora DSP and the Shaded Summer Stamp Set and coordinating Summer Shadows Dies.
Card 4:
This Gate Fold Pop Up card uses the Regency Park DSP and the Shaded Summer Stamp Set and coordinating Summer Shadows Dies.

Flat Flap Fun Fold Card Measurements
METRIC
- Cardstock:
- 20cm x 14.8cm for card base
- 2 pieces each 4.5cm x 14.3cm for back of card
- 4.5cm x 7.3cm for centre front panel
- extra for die cuts
- Designer Series Paper:
- 2 pieces each 4.5cm x 14.3cm for sides of front
- 4 pieces each 4.5cm x 3cm
IMPERIAL
- Cardstock:
- 8″ x 5½” for card base
- 2 pieces each 1¾” x 5¼” for back of card
- 1¾” x 2¾” for centre front panel
- extra for die cuts
- Designer Series Paper:
- 2 pieces each 1¾” x 5¼” for sides of front
- 4 pieces each 1¾” x 1″
Gate Fold Pop Up Card Measurements
METRIC
- Cardstock:
- 20cm x 14.8cm for card base
- 3cm x 29.7cm for belly band
- extra for die cuts, punches
- Designer Series Paper:
- 2 pieces each 4.5cm x 14.3cm for outside
- 2 pieces each 4.5cm x 14.3cm for inside outer layers
- 2 pieces each 2cm x 7.3cm for inside centre layers
- 1 piece 4.5cm x 7.3cm for inside centre
- 4 pieces each 4.5cm x 3cm
- Scoring and Cutting (refer to video for full details on how to do this):
- Score at 5cm and 15cm on the long side
- Line up short side at 3.5cm and cut from 5cm to 15cm
- Turn back to long side and score at 7.5cm and 12.5cm in between the cuts, and at 10cm outside the cuts.
IMPERIAL
- Cardstock:
- 8″ x 5½” for card base
- 1¼” x 8½” for belly band
- extra for die cuts, punches
- Designer Series Paper:
- 2 pieces each 1¾” x 5¼” for outside
- 2 pieces each 1¾” x 5¼” for inside outer layers
- 2 pieces each ¾” x 2¾” for inside centre layers
- 1 piece 1¾” x 2¾” for inside centre
- 4 pieces each 1¾” x 1″
- Scoring and Cutting (refer to video for full details on how to do this):
- Score at 2″ and 6″ on the long side
- Line up short side at 1¼” and cut from 2″ to 6″
- Turn back to long side and score at 3″ and 5″ in between the cuts, and at 4″ outside the cuts.
