Decorating a Gift Tin for Christmas

The 2020 August-December Mini Catalogue is now live and there are so many beautiful products. Today I have decorated one of the rectangle tins with supplies from the Poinsettia Place Suite.

Tips:

  • The Rectangle Tins come in a set of four for $21. Measurements are 4″ x 2-3/4″ x 1″ (10.2 x 7 x 2.5cm).
  • The top layer is from the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper. The corners have been rounded with the Detailed Trio Punch.
  • The pine branches were stamped on Whisper White cardstock with Garden Green ink and die cut with matching dies.
  • The poinsettia petals were die cut with Real Red cardstock and layered with Dimensionals. The white stamen in the centre of the flower is another die.
  • The pretty ribbon is Real Red Sheer Ribbon.
  • Supplies:
    • Stamp Set: Poinsettia Petals
    • Cardstock: Whisper White, Real Red, Poinsettia Place DSP
    • Ink: Garden Green
    • Accessories: Dimensionals, Detailed Trio Punch, Poinsettia Dies

A view from the side …. you can see another one of the DSP patterns as well as another of the stamen dies.

Isn’t this so cute? You could add lots of small items as a gift. Just imagine some shortbread or fudge as the perfect gift for a friend.
