Introducing new Colours and a new Embossing Folder

The latest catalogue – 2026 May-August went live yesterday. It has many new products which I can’t wait to use. Today I am using the new 2026-2028 In Colors with the Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder. The new colours are Barely Blush, Crisp Cantaloupe, Golden Glow, Hydrangea Hue and Peaceful Pine. The Floral Spray Embossing Folder is part of the Valley in Bloom Suite collection. I will have more from this collection in a later post.

All today’s cards use inking techniques with the embossing folder.

Cards 1-3: The Embossing Folder is a massive 6″ x 8½”. These three cards were made using the whole folder. I have swiped the Hydrangea Hue ink pad across the debossed side of the image to create this elegant look. The sentiments come from the new Words & Wishes Dies which have their own shadow dies.

Cards 4-5: These two use the same technique as for the first three cards. This time I just cut a strip of Basic White cardstock to emboss. The first one uses Golden Glow ink and the second one Peaceful Pine ink.

Cards 6-7: The Barely Blush and Crisp Cantaloupe inks are quite light so for these cards I have embossed pieces of the matching two-tone cardstock and then used a sanding block on the raised areas.

Cards 8-9: Again I used the whole embossing folder and then coloured the images on the debossed side using the new In Color Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad was then swiped across the coloured images for this stunning look. The image was then cut to create a triptych on a Crisp Cantaloupe card base and a gate fold on Very Vanilla.

Card 10: My last card today has the colouring done on the embossed side with the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. I again embossed the whole image and cut part for the card front, part for the envelope flap and part for the inside of the card. A totally different look you will agree.
