Ways to use the Flowers Fair Stamp

Today I am showcasing the very large Flowers Fair stamp to give you a number of different ways to highlight this pretty image.

Cards 1 and 2: The Split Negative technique was used to create these two cards. The image was stamped on Basic White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and again on Night of Navy using Versamark ink and heat embossing with White Embossing Powder. Each image was then cut in half vertically. One of each was put together on a layer then onto a Night of Navy card base. The first one has a layer of Pretty in Pink two-tone cardstock and the second one was die cut with a Perennial Postage Die and then layered onto Pool Party two-tone cardstock. The sentiments come from Blooming Phrases.

Card 3: For this one I stamped part of the image on an angle then coloured it with Stampin Blends alcohol markers – Fresh Freesia, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight and Shy Shamrock. I then used a cloud die cut and Balmy Blue ink to create a cloudy background. The everyday Arches Dies provided the shape for this pretty easel card. The card base is Smoky Slate with layers of Basic Black and Basic White and a strip of Fresh Freesia for the easel stopper..

Cards 4 and 5:These cards show a great way to highlight the beautiful image without being too busy. The full image was stamped on Basic White and coloured with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers – Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, Strawberry Slush, Pretty in Pink, Poppy Parade, Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight. The blue background was coloured with the Copic BG11 marker. For the first card, the flower panels were cut at 4.5cm x 8cm and the white panels 4.5cm x 5.5cm. On the second card, the flower panels were cut at 4.5cm x 4.5cm and the white panels 4.5cm x 9cm. All the white panels were embossed with the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder.

Card 6: The flowers were coloured with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers – Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Darling Duckling, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Lemon Lime Twist and fussy cut. The card base of Crumb Cake has an Exposed Brick embossed layer. The oval was die cut and embossed with one of the retired Heirloom Frames dies and embossing folders using the retired Pearlescent Specialty Paper.

Card 7: This was coloured with Balmy Blue, Summer Splash, Peach Pie and Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends. The card base of Blackberry Bliss was layered with a piece of Basic Beige embossed with Damask Designs.

Card 8: This one was coloured with the 2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers and die cut with two of the Stitched Rectangles Framelits to create an eclipse look. The Thick Basic White card base has a layer of Peaceful Pine before adding the eclipse panel. A sentiment will be added later.
