Are you looking for some added inspiration to create a set / or sets of beautiful cards? The Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes pack has 20 cards and envelopes, 4 each of 5 designs. These coordinate with the Tea Boutique suite, but can be used with any products as I have done with my samples below.
Card 1:
This card base is a tone on tone stripe design in Parakeet Party. I have made this one simple by stamping images from Cottage Rose stamp set with Smoky Slate ink and added a little extra shading with the matching Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. The images were then die cut with the matching Cottage Flowers Dies and attached to the card front with Dimensionals. The sentiment from Go To Greetings was die cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die and also attached with Dimensionals.

Card 2:
This card base is a dotted design in Tahitian Tide. Images from Cottage Rose stamp set were stamped and coloured with Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. The images were then die cut with the matching Cottage Flowers Dies and attached to a Stitched Rectangle die cut together with leaves that were die cut from the same set and coloured with Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment from Go To Greetings was stamped on a strip of Tahitian Tide cardstock and added diagonally between two sets of the floral / leaf images.

Card 3:
This card base has a small floral design in Sweet Sorbet. Images from Cottage Rose stamp set were stamped and coloured with Petal Pink and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. The images were then die cut with the matching Cottage Flowers Dies and attached to a Stitched Rectangle die cut together with leaves that were punched from the Bough Punch and coloured with Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment from Go To Greetings was stamped on the lower left hand side of the rectangle.

Card 4:
This card base has a lattice design in Starry Sky. Images from Cottage Rose stamp set were stamped and coloured with Fresh Freesia, Starry Sky and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. The images were then die cut with the matching Cottage Flowers Dies and attached to a Stitched Rectangle die cut. If you look closely you can see that I used a Blending Brush with Smoky Slate ink and one of the Artistic Mix Decorative Dies to add some subtle texture to the rectangle. The sentiment from Charming Sentiments was stamped on the top left hand side of the rectangle.

Card 5:
The last card base has a ‘smudged’ design in Orchid Oasis. Once again, images from Cottage Rose stamp set were stamped and coloured with Fresh Freesia, Starry Sky and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. The sentiment from Cottage Rose was stamped on the lower right hand side of the card base.

As you can see, it doesn’t take much to add an extra WOW to these delightful card base designs. Did you notice that the envelopes also have printed designs?
