Ways to use Amazing Silhouettes Stamp Set

Today I have a variety of cards using the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set. I have had the set for quite a while and am finally getting around to using it.

Card 1:
This uses masking to add the leaves image numerous times. The butterfly image was stamped on the art panel and again on a scrap of Basic White and fussy cut to give a 3D look. Wink of Stella on the wings of the butterfly adds beautiful sparkle.
Colours used were Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather. The sentiment is from Go To Greetings.

Card 2:
This uses the emboss resist technique to create an autumn mini slimline card (18cm x 14.8cm scored at 9cm on the long side).
The image was heat embossed on Basic White cardstock with Clear Embossing Powder. Blending Brushes were used with Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Cherry Cobbler inks.
The sentiment is from Charming Sentiments and die cut with the matching Sentiment Silhouettes Dies. The background DSP is from the Regals DSP pack.
A great card for the men in your life.

Card 3:
Another emboss resist example. This time the image has been embossed with White Embossing Powder on Evening Evergreen cardstock. The sentiment has also been heat embossed to add to the overall glossy look of the card.
Another good card for a masculine birthday.

Card 4:
Yet another emboss resist technique card.
The image was embossed with Clear Embossing Powder on Basic White cardstock. The tree was coloured with Blending Brushes and Evening Evergreen and Soft Suede inks.
Rocks and grass from the Oceanfront stamp set were added with Soft Suede and Evening Evergreen inks and then the background was add with Blending Brushes and Balmy Blue and Soft Succulent inks.
The finished art panel was then embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder before being layered on Basic White and an Evening Evergreen card base.

Card 5:
My last card in this series for today uses the Poppin’ Pastels technique.
Stamp the images on Basic White cardstock with Versamark ink then use a Blending Brush with the Soft Pastels Assortment #154585. Sadly I don’t have these pastels yet so am still using my old ones from many years ago. The colours here are Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight (both of which are in the new set), and Taken with Teal and Green Galore (to emulate Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green). After adding the colours, take a paper towel and lightly rub over the images to remove any excess pastels.
Splatter some Night of Navy ink with a Water Painter for added texture.
Some bling using Rhinestone Waves and Iridescent Rhinestones matches the colour of the images.
The sentiment was die cut with Coastal Cabana and Night of Navy cardstock using the Amazing Thanks Dies.
