So many ideas for the Calming Camellia

Cards 1-3:

Tips:

  • These three cards use the watercolour whitewash technique where the image is stamped on coloured cardstock in a darker ink and then coloured with a Blender Pen and Whisper White Craft Ink.
  • Supplies:

Cards 4-5:

Tips:

  • These cards have a Clean and Simple look.
  • The images for these two cards were stamped with Stazon ink on Mother of Pearl specialty paper. The leaves card used Saddle Brown Stazon ink. The floral images were stamped with Jet Black Stazon and coloured with Highland Heather and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers.
  • Supplies:
    • Stamp Set: Calming Camellia
    • Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Basic Black, Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper, Basic White; Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper, Very Vanilla
    • Ink: Jet Black Stazon, Saddle Brown Stazon, Stampin’ Blends: Highland Heather, Shaded Spruce
    • Accessories: Classic Matte Dots, Iridescent Rhinestones

Card 6:

Tips:

  • For this card, the images are stamped on the Layering Designs Vellum. See the close ups which show how the pattern of the vellum shows through the camellia image.
  • Supplies:
    • Stamp Set: Calming Camellia
    • Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Layering Designs Vellum, Basic White
    • Ink: Pumpkin Pie
    • Accessories: Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding, Iridescent Rhinestones, Dimensionals

Card 7:

Tips:

  • This card uses a take on the Faux Tearing technique.
  • A piece of Simply Marbleous DSP (only available during Sale-a-bration FREE with a qualifying order) was torn, stamped with the Camellia image and added to a piece of Basic White.
  • A sentiment was added to the white piece which was then embossed with the Stripes 3D EF.
  • Splatters of Gorgeous Grape ink were added with a Water Painter.
  • Supplies:

    • Cardstock: Highland Heather, Basic White, Simply Marbleous DSP
    • Ink: Gorgeous Grape
    • Accessories: Stripes 3D EF, Water Painter, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Wink of Stella

Card 8:

Tips:

  • The floral image was stamped on Very Vanilla and die cut with a Layering Diorama Die. A layer of Merry Merlot was die cut with the next size of the Diorama Dies.
  • The leaf image was stamped repeatedly on the Sahara Sand card base tone on tone.
  • A strip of Blushing Bride was stamped with the leaf image tone on tone and then embossed with the Splatters 3D EF.
  • The sentiment was fussy cut to emulate the diorama shape of the art panel.
  • Supplies:
    • Stamp Set: Calming Camellia
    • Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla
    • Ink: Merry Merlot, Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride
    • Accessories: Splatters 3D EF, Layering Diorama Dies, Dimensionals, Wink of Stella

Card 9:

Tips:

  • This is another Clean and Simple look.
  • Supplies:
    • Stamp Set: Calming Camellia
    • Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Merry Merlot, Very Vanilla
    • Ink: Merry Merlot
    • Accessories: Water Painter
