This past week I have been participating in Dare to Get Dirty at Splitcoaststampers. This is an annual event that runs over a week in appreciation of fan club members. There are around 49 challenges in which fan club members are invited to participate (complete as many or as few as you wish). The details of each challenge are only available to fan club members but the project created is available for all to see on the site.
Today I have created a set of cards using Napkin Art. Many years ago I used a Felted Cardstock technique with napkins. See more details of those cards here.
The technique I am using now creates a similar result but is way less ‘messy’.
This card was made with one piece of the napkin.

This one was made using the underlayers of the napkin.

Tips:
- To create the napkin art, carefully peel off the top (printed) layer of the napkin. Keep the underlayers for another project (see below).
- Trim a piece of Basic White cardstock to the size you want for the image.
- Using double sided adhesive sheets OR liquid glue on the cardstock, attach the printed layer of the napkin. Press all over or use a bone folder to ensure that the adhesive has stuck everywhere – especially on the edges.
- Add to card and decorate as desired.
