Today I have a selection of cards using masks to create a background rainbow pattern as a parting farewell to the 2018-2020 In Colors which will retire at the end of May 2020.

Tips:

• The three masks used are from the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks pack and were used with sponges and inks to create the rainbow pattern. In all cases, once the mask was removed, the background was too stark so I lightly sponged it in the same colours.
• Supplies:
  • Stamp Sets: Friend Like You (Card 1); Floral Essence and Colorful Seasons (Card 2); Positive Thoughts and Rooted in Nature (Card 3)
  • Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Basic Black, Whisper White
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove, Lovely Lipstick.
  • Accessories: Basic Pattern Decorative Masks, Sponges
