A Field of Daffodils with Waterfront and You’re Inspiring

Today I had my first play with two new stamp sets from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue – Waterfront and You’re Inspiring.

Waterfront is a photopolymer set with 16 stamps – 6 sentiments and 10 gorgeous watercolour images. The possibilities with this set are endless!

You’re Inspiring is a rubber set with 8 stamps – 5 sentiments and 3 images. This is a great set for colouring with Stampin’ Blends, Watercolor Pencils, or inks.

I have created a field of daffodils for my project today.

Tips:

Stamp the images from Waterfront with Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi on a piece of Whisper White (same size size as the card front). Use an Aqua Painter and Soft Sky ink to create a watercolour wash for the sky.
Stamp the Daffodils with Memento Tuxedo Black ink towards the top of the ‘field’. Colour them with Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.
Attach a small strip of Crushed Curry on the left hand side of a Cajun Craze card base. Adhere the art panel alongside this strip. Cut off the strip that overhangs the card base (to use on the inside).
