How to create a Stained Mosaic look with VIDEO

Today I have another old but great technique to show you. It is known as Stained Mosaic and it uses those leftover bits of rubber from around your stamp sets.

Just cut up the pieces and stick them on a piece of wood or an acrylic block. You can then use it like any stamp.

Card 1

Tips:

Stamp the rose image from Graceful Garden in Memento Tuxedo Black on Whisper White and colour with the new Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers – Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive.
Stamp the mosaic block over the coloured image with Versmark and heat emboss with Clear Embossing Powder.
Swipe the Smoky Slate ink pad across the embossed panel to ensure the ink gets into all the ‘cracks’. Polish with a dry paper towel to remove any excess ink from the embossed areas.

- Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark, Smoky Slate, Sahara Sand inks
- Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends
- Lots of Labels Framelits, Gold Natural Trim, Dimensionals.

- Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White cardstock, Color Theory Memories & More Card Pack, Just Add Color Specialty DSP
- Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark, Smoky Slate, Rich Razzleberry inks
- Old Olive, Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends
- Layering Circles Framelits, Perfect White Accents (coloured with Razzleberry Blends), Dimensionals

- Always Artichoke, Fresh Fig, Whisper White cardstock, Fresh Florals DSP
- Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark, Fresh Fig, Crushed Curry, Always Artichoke inks
- Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon, Layering Ovals Framelits, Dimensionals
