Earlier in the week I showed you how to create layers with a single paper punch using the Label Me Pretty stamp set and Pretty Label Punch. In that post, all you got to see were the actual layers. Today I have a few of the cards that I made with these layers.
These cards use a number of new products that will be available on 1 June when the new Annual Catalogue issues.
Card 1:
- The card base is Powder Pink (a new In Color), stamped with an image from Eastern Beauty to create some texture.
- The white layer with the ombre pink hexagons is one of the cards from the Color Theory Memories & More Card Pack.
- The small art panel is Whisper White punched with the Pretty Label punch, layered on a Tranquil Tide Pretty Label punch shape. The image on the sides of the panel was coloured with Tranquil Tide, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist In Color Markers. The dotted circle stamped in Tranquil Tide ink is from Eastern Beauty, as is the sentiment which was stamped in Fresh Fig ink.
And for the inside ….
Card 2:
- This card base is Fresh Fig (another new In Color) with a layer from the Fresh Florals DSP Stack.
- A Lemon Lime Twist (yet another new In Color) oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits provides the layer for the Whisper White Pretty Label punch shape which was stamped with a sentiment and frame from the Label Me Pretty in Fresh Fig ink.
And for the inside ….
Card 3:
- The card base (which you can’t see) from the front is Thick Whisper White, layered with a piece of Old Olive from the Color Theory DSP Stack.
- Two Delicate White Doilies and some Silver Metallic Thread form the backdrop to the Berry Burst Stitched Shapes circle Framelit and the Powder Pink Label Pretty punch shape. The frame was stamped in Powder Pink ink to create a tone on tone look.
- The Whisper White sentiment circle was punched with the 1¼” circle punch.
- Some Silver Metallic Enamel Shapes were added for some sparkle.
And for the inside ….
You can see from these samples that there is more than one way to layer a single size paper punch. Firstly, you can add another of the punch shapes, and secondly with another shape.
When you are looking for a way to layer your punch shape, don’t forget to think outside the square (not a pun!).
