Beautifully Baroque Pirouette Bird

A vintage style card today based on an idea from Pinterest.

I used the Shop Around Jumbo Wheel on a piece of Crumb Cake using Crumb Cake ink. I think I need to ink my stamp pad as the result was very light. I then put this piece through the Beautifully Baroque TIEF and then the rectangle Designer Frames TIEF. The centre of the rectangle was cut out and the embossed edges inked with Early Espresso. I wrapped some Baker’s Twine around the embossed piece and added a button made with the Sweet Buttons Embosslits and Early Espresso card stock. This was then added to a base of Pink Pirouette which had been sponged with Crumb Cake. The bird and branch were punched in Early Espresso card stock with the Bird Builder Punch.

As I didn’t have any Early Espresso Baker’s Twine, I made my own using Whisper White Baker’s Twine and an Early Espresso marker. The button holes were highlighted with a White Gel Pen.
