First Edition MDS Hybrids

Over the next little while I will be showing you a series of MDS hybrid monochromatic cards.

The first one uses a background from Vintage Overlays DSP, the butterfly image from First Edition, a sentiment from Fantabulous You, and some Ink Splatters . A punch from Lots of Tags has been used in Basic Gray, and then a small version in Whisper White. This was printed on Whisper White card and layered onto Basic Gray and a base of Naturals White.

The second one also uses a background from Vintage Overlays DSP, the blossoms image from First Edition, and a sentiment from Word Play. This time the punches are from One Day Label Punch. After printing this one on Whisper White, I used an Aqua Painter and some Calypso Coral ink to watercolour the blossoms. The blossoms were then layered onto Basic Gray and a base of Naturals White.

Both of these cards are elegant in a clean and simple way.
