I have finally succumbed and bought the All Dressed Up Bundle from the Occasions Catalogue. After seeing so many beautiful projects out there, I could see many possibilities. My first card using this bundle was made to cheer up my niece who recently had her wisdom teeth removed.
The card base is Pink Pirouette. I cut a frame in the front of it using the largest die from the Apothecary Accents Framelits, paper pierced around it using the Paper Piercing Essentials Pack, and sponged it with Early Espresso. The sentiment is from Sassy Salutations.
Using the Dress Up Framelits Dies, I cut the mannequin from Very Vanilla, and a dress using a houndstooth pattern from the now retired Festival of Prints DSP Pack. These were placed on the inside of the card as if in a window. I used a piece of 1/8″ Early Espresso Taffeta ribbon for the belt and bow, and some pearls from the Basic Jewel pack for a necklace.To complete the look, I traced around the frame on the inside.
From the smiles and hugs I received from my niece, it was definitely worth the purchase.
