Here in Australia, we are in the middle of summer, and a rather hot one at that. To create a cool feeling, I have used the Hostess set Summer Afternoon.
Today’s card uses the swing image. I stamped it with Stazon Jet Black on Watercolour Paper and coloured it using inks and a Blender pen. This was then layered onto Tangerine Tango and added to a base of Naturals White. The Simply Scored tool was then used to create three lines under the swing image. Images from Just Believe were stamped in Early Espresso and Tangerine Tango on Very Vanilla, layered onto Tangerine Tango and added it to the bottom section of the card.
The soft look with the watercolours brings to mind cool breezes and spring, rather than summer afternoons.
