Happy New Year with some pretty Paper Flowers

Happy New Year to all my readers. I hope that 2013 brings you great health and happiness.

As I foreshadowed in an earlier post, I have used the Paper Flowers tutorial [see sidebar for link] to make some pretty flowers. I used Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise and Regal Rose for the flowers, and Old Olive for the leaves and sepals [green petal-like parts at the base of the flower]. Other accessories I used included the Blossom Punch, Little Leaves Sizzlits Die, Metallic Brads, Skewers, Florist Tape and a hot glue gun.

I love how pretty they look, and they were just so quick and easy to make. Why not make a few and link them back here for me to see. Don’t panic if you haven’t got the Blossom Punch, you can use a scallop circle punch, or any flower die cut.

What’s happening over the next few weeks for you with Stampin’ Up!

  • Week 4 clearance commences on 11 January.
  • Annual Sale-a-bration commences on 22 January. This great promotion allows you to receive a free item for every $100 you spend. Keep an eye out for more on this offer.
  • The Holiday Catalogue finishes on 31 January.

If you wish to add to your stamping supplies, I would be happy to place an order for you. Just send me an email.
