Sketch Challenge

The fourth project for the Crafter’s Anonymous ABMT event was a sketch challenge with a twist. It had to include a cupcake.

As the sketch was square, I decided to stay with this shape and made a 6″ x 6″ card using River Rock as the base. Cherry Cobbler was cut with the Top Note die and embossed with the Petals-a-Plenty EF. Always Artichoke was used to create a piece of ric rac with the Tasteful Trim die, and another piece was embossed with the Square Lattice EF. Four Stylish Stars were stamped on Whisper White, two with Always Artichoke and two with Cherry Cobbler. These were then cut into 1½” squares and the edges run across the Always Artichoke ink pad. A sentiment from Many Merry Messages was stamped in Always Artichoke on Whisper White and the ends were cut with the Decorative Label Punch. This piece was then spritzed with Cherry Cobbler and attached with dimensionals. To complete the challenge, I used a cupcake from the Cupcake wheel, coloured with an Aqua Painter and ink pads. A piece of holly from the Merry Minis set was added to the top of the cupcake to keep in the Christmas theme.

Enjoy
