Embedded / Inlaid Embossing with Petal Park

Today I have a couple of samples of the Embedded or Inlaid Embossing technique. This is a very simple technique that creates a massive WOW factor. Attach your die cuts / punched pieces to a piece of cardstock and dry emboss with your favourite embossing folder.

They have been created using the Regency Park Designer Series Paper (retiring on 1 May 2023) and the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. The flowers were punched with the Petal Park Builder Punch and the leaves were fussy cut and adhered to a layer of Basic White cardstock. Some leaf sprigs and ‘dots’ were stamped to give some added detail. The panel was then embossed and attached to the card base.

Card 1:
I decided to change the colour of the large flowers to Sweet Sorbet using Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. The ‘hash’ embossing folder was used here. For a different look I added small layers of Shaded Spruce to the upper left and lower right corners of the art panel. The card base is Pool Party.

Card 2:
A thin strip of Shaded Spruce was attached to the left hand side of the art panel which was then layered onto a Petal Pink card base. The ‘stars’ embossing folder was used on this one. The sentiment was stamped on a punched flower.
