At a recent class, we used black cardstock and Watercolor Pencils to create beautiful cards using the Black Magic Technique.
Card 1:
This is the one that participants made during the class.
Tips:
- A Craft White ink pad is required for this technique.
- Solid images with matching outline stamps create the best results.
- Stamp the solid images with Craft white ink on black cardstock. Allow to dry naturally or speed up the process with a heat tool.
- Colour the images with Watercolour Pencils, blending colours together as required with a Blender Pen.
- Stamp the matching outline images with the Craft white ink.
- Create card as desired.

- Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Bermuda Bay
- Ink: Whisper White Craft, Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay, Sahara Sand
- Stamps: Touches of Texture, Eastern Beauty
- Accessories: Watercolor Pencils, Layering Ovals Framelits, Burlap Ribbon, Dimensionals

This sample was made to show participants the different looks you can get using different coloured pencils.
