The theme for a recent class was ‘Sponged Backgrounds’. With some ink pads, sponges and a few stamps, you can quickly create spectacular cards.
I must thank Michelle Zindorf and Paula Dobson for providing great inspiration for sponged and brayered backgrounds.
Here is another one of the cards we created.
Tips:
- The sun uses a 1¼” circle punch for the mask.
- The mountains are created by tearing copy paper to the required shapes and using to mask.
- Colours used: Marina Mist, Soft Sky, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight.
- The sentiment was stamped on vellum, punched with the Classic Label Punch and attached with Glue Dots.
If you would like to learn to make beautiful cards such as this and others on my blog, please join me for my regular classes. Check out the timetable on the Classes tab at the top of the page.
