Balloon Celebration Sugarplum Side Spring

I was looking for something different to make for a friend’s birthday and came across a Side Spring Card. When I checked my previous posts, I found that I hadn’t made one of these since 2012. It is a cute design that only uses half a sheet of A4 – same as for a standard card.

I used the Irresistibly Floral Specialty DSP and sponged it with Rich Razzleberry ink. The die cut from May Flowers Framelits matches the DSP perfectly. The sentiments and small flower are from Balloon Celebration.

This is what the card looks like when it is fully open.

… and this is a view looking from the end.
