Alisa has provided us with a Sketch for the Artful Stampers Team Challenge Blog Hop this week.
I used the Crayon Resist technique and a sponged embossed background.
Here it is ….
How I created it:
- The base of Night of Navy was embossed with the Brick Wall TIEF. I then ‘swiped the Stazon Cotton White ink pad over it.
- The image from Best Thoughts was stamped on Whisper White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, outlined with a crayon, and sponged with Tip Top Taupe ink. The corners of both the art panel and the TIp Top Taupe layer were rounded with the Corner Rounder Punch.
- The sentiment from Sassy Salutations was stamped on Whisper White with Night of Navy ink, fussy cut and sponged with the same ink.
- Dazzling Details was added to the stamen of the flower for a little sparkle.
Supplies used:
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Tip Top Taupe, Whisper White
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Tip Top Taupe, Night of Navy, Stazon Cotton White
Stamps: Best Thoughts, Sassy Salutations
Accessories: Brick Wall TIEF, Dazzling Details, Dimensionals, Sponge Daubers, Corner Rounder Punch, Crayon [not SU]

Great card – love both techniques, especially the crayon resist! Who knew that a kids fun craft could look so sophisticated!
