Here is a clean and simple, almost one layer card using In the Meadow stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue. It is my entry for this month’s livelovecards.com challenge which is to create a masculine card.

I added a 1 cm strip of Lost Lagoon cardstock down the left hand side of a Thick Whisper White card base. I stamped part of the mountain with Early Espresso, and then coloured it using an Aqua Painter and Mossy Meadow. The lagoon was created with a watercolour wash of Lost Lagoon, and then the grass and a shrub were stamped around it. Some butterflies were added for extra interest [and they work for masculine too]. To complete the card is a sentiment from Sassy Salutations.

With this theme, and any sentiment, it is the perfect masculine card. Don’t forget that men like to receive get well cards too.
