The third of the May challenges is Holiday Focus: “National Photograph Month. Create a card that looks like a photograph by putting a border around your image and making the image glossy. You may use On Film Framelits or make your own, you may use window sheets for glossiness or crystal effects.”
My ‘photograph’ card is very simple, emulating the old style photo albums. I stamped the floral image from Peaceful Petals onto the Naturals ivory base, and again onto Raspberry Ripple Birthday Basics DSP using Stazon Jet Black ink. The flowers on the DSP were fussy cut and added to the base image. The stems were coloured with Gumball Green. I created a frame using Early Espresso Core’dinations and the Woodgrain TIEF, then sanded it. A piece of Window Sheet was added to the back of the frame which was then added to the card using Dimensionals. The sentiment from Fabulous Florets was cut with the Modern Label punch and attached to the frame.
