Simply Sketched Christmas Sugar

As I have previously mentioned, the Simply Sketched Hostess stamp set is very versatile Here I show you how to put together a quick Christmas card using one of the images.

I created a Polished Stone background using Sahara Sand ink on a piece of Glossy White card stock, stamped the image in Stazon Jet Black and coloured it with Old Olive and Cherry cobbler markers. This was then cut with one of the Deco Labels Framelits. The base card stock of Naturals White was punched with the Corner Rounder Punch. The first layer of Baked Brown Sugar was run through the Modern Mosaic TIEF and also had the corners rounded. The second layer of Old Olive had the corners rounded before being added to the card. The sentiment from Many Merry Messages [sadly retired] was stamped on Glossy White and fussy cut. I coloured some rhinestones with a red permanent marker, then added some to the top and bottom of the card, as well as one on the sentiment layer.
