A beautiful way to create a background is to use the negative image from a die cut image.

Here I have used the Little Leaves Sizzlit to create a negative image, then sponged it using Old Olive, Wild Wasabi and Pistachio Pudding on Whisper White. I wrapped a piece of Black ribbon [not SU] around the centre and added it to a base of Old Olive. A Deco Labels Framelit shape was cut in Basic Black and centred over the ribbon with dimensionals. Flowers from Secret Garden were stamped in Pool Party and Crushed Curry and then cut with matching Framelits and added to the black piece. The birthday sentiment is from Wetlands.

A pretty bouquet for a birthday card, wouldn’t you agree?
