Do you ever wonder what to do with all those small pieces of ribbon that are left over from your projects? I have an answer with today’s Dare to Get Dirty Challenge card.
I took a piece of Real Red and cut out an ornament shape using one of the Holiday Ornaments Framelits. The negative shape was then embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots TIEF. After gathering my ribbon scraps in red, green and vanilla/white, I covered a piece of Whisper White with double sided tape and added my ribbon pieces, then attached it to the back of the embossed red layer. This panel was then added to a base of Naturals White. The Merry Christmas sentiment from Sassy Salutations was stamped in Real Red on Whisper White, fussy cut and added with dimensionals. A few rhinestones were added above the ornament, and to each end of the sentiment.
What do you think of this idea for using your ribbon scraps? You could easily convert the project to a flower or any other punch or die cut negative image.
