Something off the page today. I made this display frame for my niece’s birthday.
Starting at the top left, the background is Naturals Composition Specialty DSP sponged with Whisper White Craft Ink. The butterflies were cut and embossed with the Beautiful Wings Embosslits then sponged with Whisper White Craft Ink. The largest butterfly has some Basic Pearls added to his body. ‘Jess’ was cut with the now retired Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Sizzlits.
The top right background is Very Vanilla, stamped with a Clockworks image and Crumb Cake ink. The next layer is Perfect Plum cut with an Apothecary Accents Framelit. The dress was cut with a Dress Up Framelit and stamped with a flourish from Creative Elements in Perfect Plum. I dyed a piece of 1/8″ Very Vanilla Taffeta ribbon with a Perfect Plum marker for the belt. The rose was made with the new Simply Pressed White Clay in the Blossoms Simply Pressed Mold, then coloured with a Perfect Plum marker and a Basic Pearl added to the middle. The dress is hanging on a Hung Up Cute Clip.
The bottom left background is Very Vanilla, stamped with En Francais in Soft Suede. The mannequin and dress were made with the Dress Up Framelits. The top of the dress was stamped in Versamark with the So Swirly [retired] wheel and heat embossed with Iridescent Ice EP. The skirt was covered with Vanilla Flower Trim [sadly retired], which was lightly sponged with Crumb Cake. A Basic Pearl necklace completes the elegant look.
The bottom right background is Perfect Plum DSP. The sentiment frames are from Lots of Tags Sizzlits [retired] and the cardigan and hanger use the same accessories as above. The sentiments are from Loving Thoughts and All Dressed Up. The buttons are Basic Pearls, and the button holes were made with a White Gel Pen.
Here is the complete display. They are all joined together in a single unit.
The photos don’t really do them justice. IRL it looks fabulous and Jess just loves it.
