Watercolour wash is a technique that I have seen a lot, but until now, have not attempted. Thanks again to Dawn Olchefske, I can now add it to my list of completed techniques.
The base card stock is Pool Party, as is the Argyle TIEF embossed layer. The flower from Blooming with Kindness was heat embossed with black EP on Shimmery White card. [Note to self – use this card stock more. It gives a great finish.] Using an Aqua Painter and some Summer Starfruit, Marina Mist and Pool Party inks, I washed across the embossed image. Summer Starfruit Satin Stitched ribbon was added across the panel after it was layered onto Basic Black. I have left room at the base of the Shimmery White panel to add a sentiment.
This is a quick and easy technique that provides a WOW factor with little effort.
