A few weeks ago on a Crafters Anonymous online class, Kristine McNickle showed us how to make this cute little flip flop twisted easel card. There was a lot of chat as to what this type of footwear should be called. Kristine is from New Zealand, and they call them Jandals. Here in Australia, we usually refer to them as thongs [way before the intimate item of clothing took the name]. In the US, I understand they are known as flip flops.
I used Night of Navy, Marina Mist and Whisper White card stock. Images are from Pennant Parade, Elementary Elegance and Woodgrain. I used a Sycamore Street Pool Party button [from Sale-a-bration], 1/8″ Night of Navy Taffeta Ribbon and the Square Lattice TIEF to complete the project.
A fun card, maybe for a young masculine birthday?
