At this time of year, we all turn our thoughts to preparations for the season ahead. I found this lovely little gift box on Connie Babbert’s blog and just had to make one. Thanks for the inspiration Connie.
I used Pool Party, Primrose Petals, and Whisper White card stock, and Silver Glimmer paper. The small snowflake from Snow Swirled stamped with Versamark gave some depth to the box, whilst the Primrose Petals was cut with a Labels Framelit die and then embossed with the Lacy Brocade TIEF. The sentiment from Beautiful Season was inked with Lucky Limeade and Raspberry Ripple on Whisper White, and punched with the Curly Label Punch before being added to the box with dimensionals. A pearl was coloured with a Red Sharpie marker and added to one of the berries on the sentiment piece. The box closure is a Vintage Brad and Lucky Limeade Baker’s Twine.
Here it is closed….
… and here it is open. I apologise for the different colour looks. It seems to be a light issue. I obviously need to get more practice with this photography thing.
The finished dimensions are 3½” x 1½” x 1½” x 1½” – another good sized box for Christmas or other occasion gifts.
