Blooming with Kindness

My next few posts will highlight some cards that I have made with Blooming with Kindness.

The first one uses Naturals White for the card base, with a layer of Gumball Green which has been embossed with the Woodgrain TIEF. I stamped the flower image and a sentiment on Whisper White with Versamark and Cherry Cobbler and heat embossed them with Clear EP. Riding Hood Red ink was then used to sponge the image using the emboss resist technique. To add a little sparkle, some Dazzling Diamonds was added across the flower. Using the Floral Framelits, I cut out the flower and sentiment and added them to the green panel.

Whilst making this, I thought that maybe the colours were too Christmassy for a thank you card. Then again, green and red are not just for Christmas, are they?

  1. Annette, what a darling card with a pretty background. I especially like the textures you’ve used. The flower looks so dimensional. And you are so right! Green and red are not just for Christmas. Thank you for visiting my blog today! (((hugs)))
