Woven Ribbon Wreath

This week the technique challenge at Splitcoaststampers was to use woven ribbon on your project.

I made a ribbon wreath using retired Mellow Moss ¼” Grosgrain Ribbon and added some home made bling to represent berries. My card base is Naturals Ivory layered with a piece of Early Espresso Core’dinations embossed with the Stripes TIEF and then sanded to produce a weathered panel door effect. The sentiment from Greetings of the Season was embossed with Early Espresso EP on Very Vanilla and added to the door with dimensionals.

A pretty seasonal look, don’t you think?

Edited 4 Nov 2012. I forgot to add that the idea for the wreath came from this Youtube video. Thanks to those of you who asked.

Enjoy
