In the new Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalogue and Holiday Catalogue, a number of Digital Content discs have been introduced. They contain images of the same great stamps, designer papers, punches, etc. which can be used in any imaging software. Whilst you generally associate digital imaging with scrapbooking, these products can also be used to make cards, calendars and any other papercrafting products. I decided to try a few hybrid Christmas cards, i.e. you make part digital, print it out and add it to card stock and other embellishments.
For today’s card, I used the Remember December Digital content to create the background using two different designer paper images from the Snow Festival pack. After printing this out, I added it to a base of Naturals Ivory. A piece of Cherry Cobbler seam binding was knotted across the middle. I stamped the sentiment from Contempo Christmas in Cherry Cobbler on Whisper White and fussy cut it. For a little bling, I used White Opal Liquid Pearls [not SU] between the flowers at the bottom of the card.
