As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have been trying out water colouring with Blender Pens.
This time I tried Very Vanilla card stock and an old favourite retired stamp, From the Garden. I used Wild Wasabi and Certainly Celery for the leaves, and Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette and Pumpkin Pie for the flower. The sentiment is in Early Espresso and is from Oval All, punched out with the Scallop Oval Punch, and layered with the Wide Oval Punch. I embossed the watercolour layer with the Petals-a-Plenty EF, layered onto Early Espresso and the base is Naturals Ivory.
I found it was just as easy to use the Blender Pens on the card stock as it was on the watercolour paper. I will definitely be using my Blender Pens much more now that I have worked out the basics.
