This week on Splitcoaststampers, the technique challenge is to use half of it. In other words, use half an image, half a die, you get the picture. The CAS challenge is to layer white on white. I have combined these two challenges to produce this.
As expected, the base and layer are both Whisper White. I then used the Framed Tulips EF and embossed the left half of the layer. On the right hand side of the layer, I used the full flower image from the Reason to Smile set (which is only available for the month of June). Inking with Rose Red, I stamped partial images, masking where necessary to produce a flowing triangle shape. I then stamped the sentiment from Fabulous Florets using Certainly Celery. An elegant CAS card even if I do say so.
Hi Annette – so glad you commented on my blog and left a link to your own blog. I LOVE your style! I hope you don’t mind, but I am certain I will CASE some of your gorgeous pieces. 🙂
And you are right, you will definitely love the new ink pads when they arrive in a few months and if you are anything like me, you will fall in love with Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple!
Have a wonderful rest of your week. I will be back again – often – I am sure. 🙂
God Bless, ~Cynthia <
