Cupcake Box

It has been a rather exhausting day today. Over at Crafter’s Anonymous, there was an all day event to raise money for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. There was a new project every hour [with a break for lunch], so we made a total of 7 projects today. We were not told in advance what each project was, so it was only as we were actually making it that we knew what we were creating. Over the next week, I will show you all of my creations from this event.

The first project was a cupcake box. I used Bravo Burgundy for mine. The pretty flower on the front was made with Pink Pirouette, Bravo Burgundy and Old Olive using the Butterfly Punch, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Square Lattice EF and a little help from a tutorial by Kelly Acheson (here). A small piece of acetate was used for the window and a piece of pink ribbon [not SU] from my stash tied it all together. Sadly, there is no cupcake in it at the moment. However, this will be rectified when it goes to a worthy recipient.

Enjoy
