Petal Tree

Following my last attempt at partial embossing to make the Christmas wreath, I have now tried this technique to make a Christmas tree. Again, I was inspired by Tami White.

I used pieces of Very Vanilla and Soft Suede through the Top Note Die. Using partial embossing with the Very Vanilla Top Note and the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder, I created a Christmas tree. The berries were coloured with a Soft Suede marker and a rhinestone added to the top of the tree. I then cut the Soft Suede Top Note and stamped Woodgrain on the smaller piece. This was then attached to the Vanilla piece and sprayed with Gold Glow Smooch Spritz. When dry, I took a sponge dauber with some Frost White Shimmer Paint and sponged the tree.

The flourish from Season of Joy was stamped in Soft Suede on the side of the Confetti Cream base. The Top Note was then adhered to the left of the flourish. The Christmas sentiment from Perfect Punches was stamped on Very Vanilla with Soft Suede, punched out with the 1-3/4″ scallop circle punch, sprayed with the gold spritz and added to the card with dimensionals.
