A few weeks ago, I took the plunge and attended my first ever Regionals event for Stampin’ Up! in Brisbane. After speaking to some seasoned attendees of these events, I thought I would make some swaps and see if I could get some great ideas in return. These are my swaps.
The first one will look familiar as it uses a technique I showed in an earlier post – Stained Mosaic.
Recipe:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Versamark
Stamps: Upsy Daisy, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Accessories: Bigz Top Note Die, Sizzix Ovals, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder
Technique: Stained Mosaic
The second one uses the Polished Stone technique with a Christmas theme.
Recipe:
Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Riding Hood Red, Glossy White
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Sahara Sand
Stamps: Contempo Christmas
Accessories: Black Brad
Technique: Polished Stone
The third swap uses the Two Step Owl punch.
Recipe:
Cardstock: Always Artichoke, River Rock, Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Always Artichoke
Stamps: Woodgrain, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Accessories: Two Step Owl Punch, Sizzlits Little Leaves Die, Small Oval Punch, 1/2″ circle punch [for ticket corners]
By the way, I received some wonderful swaps in return from the other demos. Thanks to all for some great inspiration.
Fabulous techniques…beautiful cards!
