Happy Birthday to my sister Margaret. I wanted to put her card up earlier, but was waiting until she received it via snail mail first. It is now a few days since her birthday and the snail seems extra slow, so I thought I should show it to her here.
I used a technique called Blended Pencils [thanks to Splitcoaststampers resources]. You stamp a solid image using a neutral ink on a neutral cardstock. Colour one of the images with pencils, blending a few colours together, then outline all images with a fine black pen. Very effective outcome.
Recipe:
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Going Grey, Coloured Pencils
Stamps: Inspired by Nature, Sincere Salutations
Accessories: Bigz Top Note Die, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder, Rich Razzleberry Polka Dots Grosgrain Ribbon, Horizontal Slot Punch
Enjoy
Thanks Net, finally arrived but worth the wait it is very lovely. The technique looks even better in real life!!
thanks
