Stained Mosaic

You all know about the pieces of rubber left over from your die cut stamps. Most people probably do the sensible thing and throw it away. Not me! I keep all sorts of little bits and pieces as you never know when they may come in useful. Well this time, it paid off. Following a technique on SplitcoastStampers, I cut up some of those little pieces, stuck them to a block of wood, and made these beautiful mosaic cards.

The first one follows the technique to the letter, using Black Ink for the staining.

This one uses Going Gray ink for the staining. I still can’t decide which I prefer. The first is more traditional ‘stained glass’, whilst the second is much crisper.

Enjoy
