Whilst playing with my sister this weekend, we decided to enter the latest Magnolia Down Under Challenge. This time Kellie decided to go with a sketch for the theme. Here it is.
I went with Tilda the Mermaid and tried using a Blender Pen with inks to colour her. I think I have met the sketch challenge reasonably well, but couldn’t add a strip across the bottom of the card as in the sketch. See what you think of my effort.
Supplies used:
Cardstock: More Mustard, Mellow Moss, Barely Banana, River Rock, White
Stamps: Stipple Shells, Painted Posies, Short & Sweet, Inkums Pocket Stamps – Shells No. 1
Ink: More Mustard, Mellow Moss, Barely Banana, Creamy Caramel, Blush Blossom, Not Quite Navy, Pale Plum, Sage Shadow, Stazon Jet Black
Accessories: Pretties Kit White Brads, Blender Pen
Technique: Water Colouring, Sponging
Until next time.

Annette, stunning card. You’ve done a great job in colouring this adorable mermaid Tilda. Love the way the many different soft colours for her tail go well together. I’m assuming you stamped your own DP’s–well done here.
Hugs.
