Hello all. Just a quick post tonight. I am in the process of trying out some different gift box patterns, thanks to the resource pages of Splitcoaststampers. This one is called a 2-5-7-10 box because that is where you score on the cardstock. However, as we are metric here in Australia, our cardstock is also metric. I have made adjustments to the pattern to convert it to centimetres.
I took a sheet of Sage Shadow and using Versamark, stamped one of the Fifth Avenue Floral stamps randomly all over it. After scoring and cutting, I used the Eyelet Border Punch to decorate the opening at the top of the box. The embellishment on the front uses a layer of Bravo Burgundy topped with White. Another stamp from Fifth Avenue Floral was stamped on the white using Stazon Jet Black and then watercoloured using a Blender Pen with Bravo Burgundy, Almost Artichoke and Pretty in Pink. I then sponged it all with Sage Shadow and punched some small holes at the top to thread some white satin ribbon. This is the finished product.
Hope to have some more for you soon.
Enjoy.
