Adding Sparkle to Christmas Cards

A few months ago I showcased a card using the Iridescent Treat Bags. (You can see it here.) These bags come in a pack of 20 for $14. They are 4″ x 6″ (10.2 x 15.2 cm) and Food safe.

Today I have a few more to show – this time for Christmas cards.

Card 1: Whilst it is a difficult to photograph, in real life this gives a beautiful iridescent look with the Jolly Holly Hybrid Embossing Folder. A piece of the bag was attached to Basic White cardstock using Adhesive Sheets before running through the embossing folder. The embossed panel was attached to a Cherry Cobbler card base. The bells and holly are from the Jolly Holly stamp set and are coloured with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers.

Card 2: For this one I took a piece of the Iridescent Bag attached to Basic White cardstock, embossed it on the debossed side and then dragged Stazon Jet Black ink pad across the panel to create a letterpress look. I used the panel to create a Locking Gate Fold Card with Cherry Cobbler, Bubble Bath and Basic White cardstock. Rose Gold Foil was used with the Christmas Words Collage Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies for the sentiment, The sentiment panels were die cut with the Spotlight on Nature Dies.
