In the Online Exclusives there is an amazing bundle called Mixed Florals. The images are larger than life and are perfect for colouring with many different mediums. Earlier in the week I showcased the tulips. Today I am going to use the echinacea image and colour it with Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers and then with Watercolor Pencils. I will also use the coordinating dies.
Card 1: For this one I coloured the image with Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. The negative of the leafy image in the background was die cut using the Two Tone Old Olive cardstock. The cute little lady bug was coloured with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment is from the Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. I used a White Gel Pen to add some detail to the blue flowers
Card 2: Now compare this to the one above. The Watercolour Pencils give a much lighter more subtle look. The card base was coloured with one of the Linked Together Decorative Masks and Smoky Slate ink.I used the leafy image for the background on this card.
