Today I am showcasing a selection of Christmas cards using the Online Exclusive stamp set Greetings of the Season.
Card 1: Add Shaded Spruce ink to the edge of a Thick Basic White card base. Use a palette knife to spread Gold Metallic Enamel Effects along the very edge and allow to dry. Die cut the bells from Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper and the leaves from the Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper. Attach the die cuts to a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock and add to the card base. Decorate the inside and envelope to match.
Card 2: This accordion fold is a great way to showcase Designer Series Paper. Take a piece of 12″ x 6″ DSP from the Winter Meadow DSP pack and cut ½” off to leave 11½” x 6 for the card base. (Keep the ½” x 6″ piece to decorate the envelope.) Score at 4″, 7′ and 10″. Burnish score lines and add adhesive between the 4″ and 10″ folds and close. Add a 3¾” x 5¾” piece of Pebbled Path cardstock inside the last panel. Attach a Basic White layer 3½” x 5½” over the cardstock layer. Stamp the sentiment on the part of the neutral layer that can not be seen when the card is closed. Stamp a sentiment, punch with the Scallop Oval Punch and attach to the 1½” front panel. Use Pebbled Path cardstock to punch a deer from the Deer Builder Punch and attach to the lower part of the front layer.
Card 3: The Season of Elegance Specialty DSP creates an elegant background layered onto Basic White and then a Garden Green card base. Die cut a label from the Iconic Imagery Dies, stamp a sentiment and emboss with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. Add the bird which was die cut from the Nests of Winter DSP with the Winterly Tree Tops Dies.
Card 4: Take a piece of Real Red cardstock and add White Pearlized Enamel Effects all over it using a palette knife. Allow to dry and emboss with the Basics 3D Hash Embossing Folder. Attach to a Thick Basic White card base. Use circle punches or dies to cut three Real Red Circles and three images from the Nest of Winter DSP. I used 1″, 1¼”, 1½”, 1¾” and 2″ circle punches. Layer the birds with the red cardstock and attach to the card base using Dimensionals.
