Sympathy cards are always difficult as they mean so much to the recipient and often to the maker as well. I find that a Clean and Simple look is so elegant for a sympathy message.
Tips:
- The edges of the Basic White layer were covered with Masking Paper to leave an open rectangle in the middle. This rectangle was coloured with Blackberry Bliss ink and a Blending Brush.
- After removing the masking paper the image from Thoughtful Wishes and the sentiment from Thoughtful Expressions were stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.
- A butterfly was die cut with Basic Black cardstock using one of the retired Meadow Dies. Some Purple Fine Shimmer Gems completed the clean and simple look.
- A sentiment from Country Flowers was stamped on the inside panel.
- Colour was added to the envelope and inside without reinking the Blending Brush.
