This beautiful Frames & Flowers Designer Specialty Paper has 6 sheets of patterned paper: 1 each of 3 double-sided designs and 1 each of 3 single-sided die-cut designs. Click on the photo to see it in more detail in my online shop. Before you go to the shop, I would love it if you would continue to scroll down and check out the samples that I have made with some of this pack.
Card 1: This uses a die cut wreath, die cut flowers and a 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP. The card base is Petal Pink. A circle was punched through the DSP and cardstock with the sentiment from Poised Peony being stamped onto the inside piece. The 6×6 DSP creates a layer for the front of the card as well as for the back flap of the envelope with a small strip at the base on the inside of the card.

Card 2: The card base is Lost Lagoon. A sentiment from Layering Leaves was stamped with Early Espresso ink on a piece of Very Vanilla. This was embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and attached to the card front. A die cut frame was attached to the embossed layer with Dimensionals. A floral die cut was added in between the frame and the embossed layer More die cuts decorate the inside and the envelope.

Card 3: A thick Very Vanilla card base was stamped with a sentiment from Simply Said and then embossed with the So Swirly Embossing Folder. This card uses a 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP. Two layers of DSP each 3″ square were used for the front of the card and the remaining 3″ x 6″ piece used to decorate the inside of the card and the flap of the envelope. The two pieces of DSP on the front are separated with a layer of Pretty Peacock that is 3¼” x 3¼”.

Cards 4, 5 and 6 were all created with just one piece of 6″ x 6″ DSP – a One Sheet Wonder. I have created it so that the DSP will create portrait cards. If you rotate the design by 90° you can create landscape cards. It will depend on the DSP pattern as to how you use it. Thanks to Mary Knabe for the original inspiration.

Card 4: A fun fold for this one. Take a standard card base and trim 5cm (2″) from the right hand front. This Soft Sea Foam card base has a strip of Subtles DSP along the front edge and a Petal Pink layer attached to the inside of the card. The 3″ x 4″ piece of DSP is layered onto 3¼” x 4¼” Pretty Peacock and attached to the centre of the front strip. The inside Basic White piece is also 3″ x 4″ and is attached so that it is hidden when the card is closed. A die cut piece was attached to the white. The sentiment from Simply Said was stamped in Pretty Peacock on Basic White and added to the centre of the front panel. The Bough Punch provided some Petal Pink embellishments and a Linen Thread bow brings it all together.

Card 5: A strip of DSP 6″ x 2″ was cut into 4 pieces each 1½” x 2″. These were layered onto a 3¼” x 4¼” piece of Pretty Peacock. A layer of Soft Sea Foam was embossed with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and attached to a Lost Lagoon card base. The 4 piece panel was centred on the embossed layer. The sentiment from Simply Said was stamped with Pretty Peacock on Very Vanilla and punched with the 1-1/8″ Scallop Circle Punch and attached with Dimensionals. As I didn’t have any DSP left for the inside and envelope I used some images from the retired Christmas Season stamp set.

Card 6: For the last card, I used the other 3″ x 4″ piece of DSP layered onto 3¼” x 4¼” Lost Lagoon. The Pretty Peacock card base was stamped tone on tone with an image from the retired Christmas Season stamp set. (In retrospect I should probably have stamped second generation for this step.) A 2″ (5cm x 14.8cm) strip of Petal Pink card stock was added to the centre of the card base before attaching the DSP layer with Dimensionals. The sentiment from Simply Said was stamped with Pretty Peacock on Basic White, punched with 1½” Circle punch and layered onto a Pretty Peacock 1¾” circle. I used Lost Lagoon with the Bough punch to add some leaves behind the sentiment. As with the previous card, I used Christmas Season images for the inside and envelope.
