Quadrangle Cards with Thoughtful Moments

Today’s post uses products from the current Sale-a-bration promotion as well as products from the January-April Mini Catalogue to create a set of Quadrangle cards. A 6″x6″ piece of cardstock and a piece of 6″x6″ DSP create the focal pieces for a set of four cards.

Tips:

  • To make the quadrangle pieces:
    • Trim a piece of DSP to 5¼” x 5x¼”. Cut into four pieces using the measurements below.
    • Trim a piece of cardstock to 6″ x 6″. Cut into four pieces using the measurements below.
    • Layer the DSP onto the cardstock. I have actually trimmed back the cardstock layer to get a smaller mat on the pieces.
  • Emboss the front of Thick Very Vanilla card bases with the Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder. This folder is currently available with a coordinating stamp set for FREE with a qualifying order during the Sale-a-bration promotion which ends on 29 February 2024.
  • Attach the quadrangle pieces at any angles you like.
  • Use the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid EF & Dies with Petal Pink cardstock to die cut the sentiments you wish to use.
  • Add Pretty Peacock ink to the die cuts with a Blending Brush.
  • Attach the die cuts to punched or die cut shapes and add to the card base with Dimensionals.
  • I die cut some leaf sprigs from the same die set with Very Vanilla cardstock and used the Blending Brush with no extra ink to give them a little colour before attaching above the sentiment.
